Message: Thank you JB for the kind birthday wishes, and may I say, right back atcha! August in North Georgia is something to behold. Warm, humid, hot, humid, cool, humid, hot, humid, cool, humid, warm, humid, hot, humid... They say you get used to it. I say, I don't know how anything ever got done in the South before A/C. The human race was a hardier bunch back in the day. In spite of the weather, we LOVE the South. It's beautiful- one of the payoffs of all that humidity is the lush flora. And where we live, in a semi-rural area, the deer wander through the hood (eating a few of our favorite plants along the way.) JB, thanks again for Cougartown connections and memories. I miss you to pieces, come see us sometime! xoxoxox
Sharon, Bugs are too big back there

Message: Hey Tom and Clark Cougartown has always been a place we can come to in order to reconnect and catch up on what's been going on with fellow alumni. John has worked hard over the years to maintain this site and make it what it is and has always been. Lets show a moniker of respect for him, the alumni that use this site, and for the site itself and put away the childish bickering. This isn't the place for it. Thanks.

Message: John, T-shirt arrived, well done t-shirt people. Clark and Thomas, I don't have French or English dueling pistols. I do have two German made pistols. They are not the required 9" barrel used in duels. Both are about a .45 cal size and don't have high recoil. Time to step up and stop this bickering once and for all. Thomas, MSBL. Several years ago my best bud Roland and I tried out for MSBL, in PDX. Me at 1st base, Rollie at center field. During tryouts I got cut as I couldn't throw to home plate. I one bounced the ball 10'short of home plate. What has that to do with playing 1st base. Rollie was cut as he knew more about BB than the coach. He was 68 and I was 69 then. It was the wrong "Senior" thing. I didn't think age had anything to do with it.
Thanks Carl, glad you received it.

Message: The fact that you believe that anything so trivial that happened at HHS over 40 years ago actually matters to anyone tells most of us normal folks all we need to know about those comments. Like I said, difficult to avoid you, but clearly worth the effort. I know when you get your feathers ruffled you like to retreat into that childish pole vaulting fantasy of yours to protect your ego, and although I appreciate the entertainment value, some day you are going to have to grow up and let that go. You do realize that no one gives a crap about T & F right? Now if you want to talk about adult sports accomplishments, let's talk about Berry's MSBL National Championship Team last year and the upcoming title defense occurring in Phoenix this October. Google that if you want to feel even smaller.
Boys Boys, please! Tom, quit feeding the bear and Clark, quit taking the bait.

Message: Tom Leeman: just because you are invited somewhere you need not attend. I assure you your absence at Tony's will go unnoticed but be much appreciated. Since our banter on Cougartown in 2010 I've run into a number of your classmates all of whom describe you as a strange duck. They all said the only place you were special at HHS was in your own mind. Also I saw you compete at CIF your senior year and you got blown away in the preliminaries. I have no desire to banter with you again and embarrass you as I did in 2010. Get some counseling and improve your attitude!

Hey Gloria, I just got home from breakfast with Glenn and had a strange message on the machine. It sounds as though you, sister Patty and Big Dave are all on the same page, Cougartown-wise
I could change the colors of the website to Facebook colors but it would look like a Leuzinger site. Thank you again for making Glenn and me feel right at home last night. We had a great time with you all and sounds as though you are still partying.

Message: My very first "Cougar Sighting!" (Of sorts) Yesterday I got a phone call from Joe Marazzi (74). He said he was in the area on business and if I was free maybe we could get together before the reunion. So we met at a McDonalds and swapped a few stories and caught up a little. Hey, a lot of catching up after 40 years. We even discussed droppin in to the Drop In. It was great seeing Joe after all these years and we're both looking forward to seeing the rest of the class and you Big John tomorrow!
Hey David, I'll give you that one and keep on re-connecting, at least through this weekend. See you there.
