Message: I must admit, It was a exciting game. Alot of ups & downs, but overall great. As for the comment about Kurt Warner being interviewed, and being dressed like a business man, just 15 mins after the game. After losing the Super Bowl, you think he should do what? Hot & sweaty, and dirty, just sit and cry. That shows his professionalism. No matter how much it hurts, he still has class. Pittsburgh should be proud of what they accomplished and Arizona should also be proud. Someone has to win & someone has to lose. Just my 2 cents, GREAT GAME!
I totally agree, Thanks Wayne.....

Message: Loved the game!...However, why is it that in 15 minutes after the game ends, the AZ QB is interviewed, showered, and dressed in a suit like he is a business man? "The Boss" ROCKED!!...And who would of thought that Steve Van Zandt would be a guitarist for the E Street Band, AND a mobster on the Sopranos?? One more thing: why was Conan O'brian's band (Max Weinstein) there for Bruce and NOT the E Street Band? So many questions.....

Message: Mike Kratz;I to think Warner is a very good QB, however, I think he will be out classed by the Steelers defense. I am surprised that the line is only 7 points, I think it will be the Steelers by 17 points at games end. Good luck which ever way you leen, I just hope it's as good a game as last years and not a blow out as in years past.

Message: Hi Tammy Nichols in Omaha -- I am writing a book on the early days of the Beach Boys and would love to receive scans of yearbook photos of Brian Wilson (HHS 60), Dennis Wilson (HHS 63, but did not graduate from HHS), Carl Wilson (HHS 65, but did not graduate from the school) and Al Jardine (HHS 60). Or any class or sports group photos with them. I realize this is time consuming, so I'd be more than happy to compensate you for your time, or perhaps a donation to a favorite charity, and include you in the Acknowledgements section of the book. For ALL COUGARS, I am also looking for scans or copies of HHS football programs that were sold at the games for the 1957, 1958, and 1959 seasons, or complete season schedules for those years. My email is bfinkmurphy@yahoo.com. Thank you, and thank you, John, for allowing me to post. Go Cougars! Jim Murphy

Message: Still not sure what you guys are talking about. Where is this. Also, I am thinking about getting on Biggest Loser. I have had so many people say how inspirational it would be. Especially now that I am 50 years old. So if any of you have any connections I could use them. I am finally back in the gym. Haven't stepped foot in one for over a year and I still bench 315 pretty easy. So at least I have some strength left. But I think it would be good to go on that show. I know I could win.
Keith, go here. I'll partner up with you on the Biggest Loser

Message: I have seen bottles of my lotion in Baker at that one gas station with the minimart. That stuff was manufactured in 1993 so not too sure if it works anymore and I know it must smell really bad. It was a big hit till the idiot who I had run the company filed bankruptcy. Oh well, another one of those "life lessons". And Miss Barbara, you know how much I have always wanted to hug you. And what article are you talking about.

Message: I just saw the words "open bar" on someones post and it brought back an expensive memory. Back in 93' or so when I had my SunTan Lotion company "Purely Hawaiian" I put on a big VIP party at the Tahitian Lanai in Waikiki (no longer there). Right on the water and outside just a beautiful place. When I arranged everything and paid the fee for the rental and food the manager asked if I wanted an "open bar". I said "of course I want everyone to be able to drink". Well at the end of the night after the party the manager came up to me with a $8,000+ bill and asked to get paid. I said "what"? And he said for the "open bar". I said why do I have to pay for the drinks and he said cause "open bar" meant that the drinks were free to the customers. I went nuts and said "why would I want to pay for everyones drinks" Well long story short (and you know my long stories) My attorney who was there (which cost me $150 an hour for the flight time to Hawaii and back to LA) ended up putting it on his Amex card and then took it out of our account when he got back home. Anyway, that is when I learned what "open bar" meant and everytime I hear it I think about that night.

Message: Read the feedback regarding wedding expenditures. My nephew is planning an August wedding and the prices they are getting are incredible. $12,000 for valet service, $16,000 tentative fee for open bar, et cetera. Anne and I got married in 1970 for a total of $1,000 and that included a sitdown dinner for 100 people at the Palos Verdes Country Club. Now, that is barely a down payment on the cake!
Hey John, next time it's Vegas
