Message: Thanks for the birthday wishes! And thanks too for not mentioning any jokes about old age! Mike and I had a lovely weekend in Savannah to celebrate, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though it was hot and humid, Savannah is a great place if you love to dabble in history, and we do. And Happy Birthday to my compadre Clark, whom I've known since kindergarten at York School! I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Judi. I'll never forget the story Russ told about the moon shining off his bald head and keeping her awake- she was obviously a woman of great humor. And sorry to hear of the loss of John Crotty as well, he was much loved by the Hawthorne community. My sympathies to both families. Happy Birthday Mr. John Baker, my favorite Cougartowner of all!

Great to see Coach Plum who I played my only year of football for in his first year at HHS 1956 B team. Also seeing Don/Crow, we go back over 60 years, & were still walking & able to remember! Great to see Jodi & Dave & Dale. Dave was also on that 56 B Team. I think I talked his ear off, maybe both. Missed seeing Judy & Jan but will try & get over it, will seek some therapy. If you want a first rate QB, go to the school which produced Frankie Albert (T-formation), John Brodie, Jim Plunkett, John Elway, Andrew Luck and now Kevin Hogan. If you want to go back to the 40s with Frankie Albert, rank SC and Stanford win loss record from the 40s. Geez Dean you have a couple of good seasons in a row and you'd think Stanford was Halas's Bears.

I've known Judi and El Rojo all through high school. Russ and I played basketball together. Judi and Russ were married right out of high school and have been one person all their lives.
