- Began his career with Centinela Valley School District - HHS
- Head Coach for both Varsity football and baseball
- 7 Football League Championships in 11 years, '53 - '54 - '56 - '57 - '59 - '64
- One CIF & State Championship - '54
- One CIF Championship Runner-Up - '59
- Coached 400+ Cougar football players (countless more in PE classes)
- 65 victories, 23 losses - 74% wins
- Mentor to too many to count - disciplined a few over the years

- Helped start and build Hawthorne Youth Camp - Wrightwood

- Appointed Director of Hawthorne Parks & Recreation
