This is how he treats the people he is most comfortable with. I, who looked up to him so respectfully when I was 8 or 9 years old, was treated this way back then. I should have gone to a park coach's victims shelter I guess (my name is Patty and you can be sarcastic with me). Yes, I too spent some humiliating and excluded moments trying to find the damn pictures. Then, I stopped my self, chanted "My name is Patty and I dont' need to be treated like this" 150 times, and waited for King John to REALLY post the pictures. GOT ME AGAIN Sloey. Hey Bill S. It was nice to meet you and your kids - nice little ones! Loretta it was good to meet you! Mo - I want a copy of that you-know-what joke. That's all for now. Great pictures of my kids KJ. Thanks. AND last but not least, Keith Jones I loved your last feedback, still laughed to myself to the curiosity of strangers on your 'ghost teacher'. Trust me there will be more feedback later.

Now after 30 years please keep the record correct for the "69 Beach Boys Prom"
I was forced to take student council as elective to graduate. It was my idea in class completely Due to the fact the Beach Boys would practice
At Ron Swallows on 123rd St in Del Air Across from Anza Next to Larry Fuerstinger and Barry Volk I was around the corner across from Trotter,
Rex Simpson and Nick Kerber. We were always over there And it was MY IDEA Ken was the President that?s why he got credit For making the second call. But it was my idea. In addition to the beach boys prom night I also put on a dance in the cafeteria (first one) ever at HHS with strobe lights and punch (who can remember that one?) Also I'm famous for purchasing 40 seats at the Forum for a up front and personal Led Zeppelin show. Most of the cougars that attended purchased the tickets from me in Seniors Square 1968
Changed some people forever.... who remembers that one? Suess-where are they now? If anyone besides my posse at the time Willcoxson, Angelini, Tabert, Gilbert Aries Shirley Low, Barry Volk...Steve Alley
The McDonalds how about Nick Kerber? I also attended the Disneyland trip that Rick Yama died.

Message: John,
At one time I thought that we should introduce Joe Mailander to Leeroy Felderruster, maybe they will rub off on each other. I am just trying to picture the result. I can't figure out if they would cancel each other out thus both of them being like most of us or shift out of phase and go in opposite directions (heaven forbid!). After thinking about it maybe we should keep them apart and keep them just as they are now. I do think that Joe spent too much time with Adrian Reynolds (67). Adrian had a prolific vocabulary and used it to talk the way Joe wrote in his last email.
I would like to know if anyone has stories that they can tell as to how someone from HHS has influenced his/her life today.
Chris, I can't understand Joe OR LeeRoy, so nothing would change.
I know Mrs. Theresa "Ginger" Mark taught me that there're NO FREE RIDES in life.

I am so sorry that you were looking for the pictures, but as the King of Cool I for one know you were never misled, never happened. Lincoln said it best, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but never can you fool Robin Hood. And as for my spelling, it is my fat fingers that don't fit the keyboard, it isn't my spelling. Except for Ricki I missed that one I apologize, for mispelling your first name, your last name was the fingers fault. Kathy Brooks told me that she knew because his two children were in her kindergarten class and she was standing near him when his number was drawn. Old Codger comes from some boys in one of my math classes - they were witty and good artists. I finally gave them a small bulletin board of their own for Codger memorabilia. They drew things like my car, the codgermobile and Old Codger, RIP. Gee, I hope they learned some math! Somehow I missed Otto Plum - we painted a summer or two for Wiseburn. I'm sure I missed others. Thanks to those who brought the great wheels! It was a nice touch. Thanks again, John, for all your time and effort.
It was fabulous seeing so many former students. Karen, I'm glad you think I haven't changed (have you visited your optomerist lately?)

Message: Cruise night at Fosters was real bitchin, groovy, neat, cool, wicked, hot, solid, happenin', far out, so fine, rad, the bomb, swingin', tuff, hep, too hep for words, in, way cool, bad, boss, righteous, dope, phat, and what Joe said.
Joe's heartthrob and I really had a great time (and Joe, she's made my blood rush for 21 years). It was so cool hanging out at the one place in Hawthorne that has changed the least over the past 40+ years. It was like seeing my misspent youth flash before my eyes. Seeing people, who the last time I saw them was probably in Fosters parking lot 33 years ago, like Danny Petty. Karen Hare, you're as cute as you were in high school and thank you for the dance. Sherry, I am still 16 and thanks for noticing. It was great seeing so many class mates and old friends Ed Fite, Gary Miller, Maureen Manning, Marsha Russell, Judy DeGrazia, Mo Trott, Joyce McCarroll and Loren Heath, what a trip. Sloey, it was nice seeing you too.
Becky Lou, the great thing about being someone's high school sweetheart and first love is that no matter what happens and how many years go by, you will always be mine.
And, Robin Hood, the great thing about being your little cousin, is no matter where I go all the girls want to hug and kiss me. Of course, they expect me to pass them on to you, but a hug and a kiss is a hug and a kiss. So here you go ... XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
And, JB, about the raffle, I can't take full credit for the donation. Several early departees, including some of the rowdy girls, gave me their tickets with instructions to donate the winnings back to CT. So, I ended up with two handfulls of tickets and I can't say who's ticket was actually the lucky winner. John, because of you we were all winners Saturday night, and Cougartown just happened to be the beneficiary.
I wish I had known about Curtis' call. I have his number stored in my cell phone and we could have given him a call back.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make Cruise Night such a success. It was just too much fun.
King John you're just the greatest! Your loyal subject, the Duke of Boss.
Hey Chuck, I think you left out Robins favorite expression in High School, "Really Neato". Yes, I talked to a "Rowdy" this morning and she had mentioned that same fact about the Rowdys donating their tickets. I won't say her name here, but her initials are JD and she's VERY clumsy. But I knew, being the class guy you are, you would come clean right here in front of everyone. Chuck, THAT'S what makes you the "DUKE OF BOSS". Thanks to you for being so honest and thanks to the Rowdys for.....well, for leaving early.
Just Kidding girls. I love you all and we'll see you all on Homecoming Night. Sandy, bring Jim's Megaphone and we'll let Sharon Branigan lead us in a cheer. Thanks ROWDYS for the donation, and NO Judy, I won't split it with you.

Question is; to where do we submit addresses of fellow classmates who would like to receive the Newsletter, but who do not own a computer and would like to know what is happening in Cougartown? Is there a page where we can submit for them or is there an address they can send their's too? THANKS JOHN
Hi Loretta, If you want to send addresses for people who don't have Internet access, please go to the student info page and add them there. At the bottom, where it says Become a Member, yes or no, click on the No. Also if you're submitting it for someone else, please put your name and email in the Comments box.
These people will get a blurb in the mail (as soon as we get enough addresses). It will tell them we're here and they can sign up then. All you're doing is giving me an address of someone you think would be interested. "No Salesman Will Call". That's all there is to it.
