Message: Dewey- Thanks - I just got a message from Seagem back in Hawaii-She wrote alot more than just this below, some not so pleasant...But like in the PLAY Mr. Roberts , when they got the 2 letters at the same time, one telling of Mr. Robert's being caught by a Nip' Shell...& another letter from Mr. Roberts himself, telling the crew about a Billious Ribbon with a palm tree...The Doc said post THIS ONE, "IT's Their's" - Well crew here is your letter ---My dads wishes in the will are to be cremated and ashes spread at Punchbowl Military Cemetary which is an honor because he served his country in WWII and Korean War. He did not want a service. But, he did want everyone to go to the nearest bar and have happy hour with an Irish whiskey or Makers Mark! Have a drink for him and yourself and cheers to the Lil Devil and remember the good times! To those of you who rode with Danny on the Harley, please go on a motorcycle ride rally this weekend. He talked about the rock store all the time and all his buddies. He loved it! " Ride til you die", he wrote all the time. Especailly on several Christmas cards or pictures of him on his harley. But, you biker buddies know probably what he liked, so do that this weekend and please email me back the adventures that you experienced with Dad as well so that I can share them with my family. He was an amazing father that had a heart of gold and would help you out in a pinch or fight you for the check to pay the bill at the restaurant! My fondest memory is this past holiday spending time with my dad and him telling stories about all his adventures. So, Thanksgiving and Christmas were awesome! Christmas day he came over after church and spent the day watching Meet the Fockers with me and the kids. Of course, there are so many moments that were so special and dear to me.But, for now I want to leave you all with his line, "If you ever get caught in the crossroads, talk to the man upstairs"Other lines,"Peace be with you""God Bless You""I got to do it today because tomorrow may never come""Have fun because you only live once""Thats a trip""Dude'Of course the all so famous, "You lil devil." and that chuckle of laughter that followed. This was my favorite!!!!If you think of any other sayings my dad use to say, please email me those.Mahalo Nui Loa,Always with warm aloha,Seagem Fix McNamara

Thanks Kathy.....

Maiden: Christiansen
Class: 1962
City & State: Portland, OR
Message: Hi to HHS Class of '62. It was great fun to discover Unfortunately, I found the site the day after the latest '62 reunion. I figure it raised so much energy down there in So. Ca. that I felt it up here in Oregon and was moved to find the site. I think of my year at HHS with great fondness. I remember especially lunch time, laughing with friends, the ultimate cream chocolate pie from the school cafeteria, the amazing hours at the library and in class with Mr. William Goodfellow, the teacher who imparted to me and my Seminar mates, I think, an enduring and great love of art during my year as an AFS student. And, of course, the wonderful sports program at HHS, the badminton, the fencing and the tennis. I hope to come to our next reunion. Aase (Christiansen) Beaulieu
Hi Aase, I remember you.... Glad you found us and hope you do make our next reunion. Please check in here anytime.

Message: There are a few names on the alumni rosters that don't appear. Mine doesn't because I didn't GRADUATE from HHS, although I went there for 3 years as did my brother Mike Quezambra, class of 1976. What about Mike Levizon, '76, Rod Johnston, '77, Tony Levizon, '78, Pete Cotello, '78, Danny Demayo, 78, and others I don't see?
Hi Toby, The Alumni List isn't a roster of all the students who attended in a certain year. It's a list of all who've added their own info to the list. If you ATTENDE#D HHS, which you did, please add yourself to the list. Click here to add yourself.

Message: Hey, John - On the Alumni page next to my name...what, exactly, does the rotating star & the numeral 2 signify?
Hey Gibby, It means you've been a member for two years. Some have 9, but those people either started their membership when we started the memberships, OR they wanted to pay BACKWARD to the beginning, and are paid up through next year. Confusing?? I think it might be. Also, some people have paid MORE than 9 years but their star only reflects one year ahead. If they've sent in MORE than 9 years dues, at the beginning of next year their star will click over to 10. ALSO, just because you have a 2 in your star doesn't mean you are necessarily behind in your dues. Maybe you only found the website 2 years ago, or that's when you became a member.

Message: Thank you to the "kids" from the Class of 1962 who attended our "Class of 62 Turns 62" Reunion this past weekend. We all had a wonderful time. Also thank you to other classes who attended & especially Howard Duran (Sharon Schleper?s husband) who was so kind as to take many pictures throughout the weekend. The highlight of the evening was the Memorial musical video John Baker lovingly put together, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the new HHS cafeteria (where the Reunion party was). It is things like this that make John Baker so special to all of us. Our class of 1962 presented John with a beautiful crystal Cougar (leaping through the air) on a marble base, with words of appreciation for his leadership, vision and creation of Thank you John for loving us all so much. We love you back!
How nice to see Leonard Stone, and Ron Petch who we have not seen since Graduation day. I hope we will see you both at all the future reunions. I was lucky enough to sit next to Bob Gross at breakfast on Sunday. Bob & I have known each other since 5th grade at York School. As always, George Rea did a great job MC-ing the party always making it so much fun. Cheryl Christensen Nicocia & Tonya Hobson Braham kept us laughing the entire weekend. Always nice to see Sherri Jones Niemela who still has the same beautiful skin she had in high school. Bob Bunim, Virgil Niemela, Linda McDowell Shahian, Sue Smith, still good looking after all these years! Mike Graves, YOU are an inspiration to all of us. Our musical classmates, Norman Greenfield, Darrell Boesinger, Fred Rand, Eugene Obillo and Vic Rice, Milton Calkins & whomever else in our class plays an instrument. Please start practicing as we are giving you 6 years notice for you to perform at our 50th Reunion!
A special thank you to Vince Bravo from HHS who was our liaison and who spent the entire day Saturday setting up tables and coordinating our event. Vince no longer works at HHS as he is now principal at Lawndale High School. Thank you Vince for going above and beyond! Thank you to my ?joined at the hip? fellow committee members, George Rea, John Baker, Dan Dye, Eugene Obillo, Karen Sue Hoffman Newkirk, Nancy Cheryl Brooks Kari, and Loretta Morelli Cuiper. It was so much fun meeting with all of you over the past 4 months. is always a pleasure to see our teachers come to our reunions. Harry Plotkin........always smiling, Hal Chauncey, you're timeless! We will see you both at our 50th in 6 years! Thank you to all who helped make our Reunion so wonderful!
And thank YOU Linda Jones Reynolds, for all you did to make this one a true success. Working tirelessly throughout our 4 months of planning, calling, emailing, scheduling, typing, etc. You ARE a class of 62 treasure all by yourself. Let's do this all again real soon.
