Message: A great big Happy Father's Day to all the Cougs, enjoy your day with your family. Now regarding our graduation, in some ways it does not seem like it has been 40 years since we left HHS. I'm guessing it is because we have Cougartown and it has brought memories from our past and given us back so many of our friends. Cougartown keeps things going, keep it up John and all cougs who share their times of the past with us all. Also, Larry and I wish Sharon and Paco a happy 40th Anniversary. Have a great week end all. Always a Coug
Happy Fathers Day, Larry

Message: Congratulations Wade on winning Sloey's trivia question. Of course I think Larry's answer was good about all the names containing an I, that was pretty good. Keep those trivia questions coming Sloey. Larry B, I agree, the pictures John uses are embarrassing. JB has been posting my Soph pic, even though I know he has a 1977 yearbook in his possession, not that my senior pic is any better. BTW, I will be sending my dues in this week.
Are you Leslie McFarlane, because that's the only one in that book.

His week wasn't complete without spending a little quality time leaning on my car door writing me a love note. Anytime he had a few minutes on his hands he would ask "hey, where's Shay"? Fred Moore was Mr. Rogers next to this guy.
You've got me hankerin' for a couple chili dogs!

OK, Pinks it is. Mike, You pick the night.
Also, you have the BEST Cop Chase story. When you were all lopsided on the lift at T&W.

Message: I must say that I'm shocked, humiliated, and emotionally distressed after receiving no less than 17 e-mails from fellow Cougs regarding my picture Mr.Baker used. Each and every one graciously offered a pic of the family pet after they had shaved its butt and taught it to walk backwards. They feel this would be a significant improvement and increase the overall quality of Ctown. It's OK. I still love each and every most of some of all of you.
Very funny Larry....Yeah most people scream when they see their Senior picture, but a FRESHMAN pic....YIKES!!!
BTW, that 75 yearbook was graciously loaned to me by Gloria Valencia at least 3+ years ago. I promise to return it in this lifetime, Gloria...... HONEST!!!

Message: Howdy again, just for clarification. Norton will detect the Klez virus in the attachments to your email provided you have updated your virus definitions. However, many of you were infected prior to the virus being detected large scale and you are the folks who still harbor the little beast.
Clear as Mud?

Good point. Just because you have a virus program on your computer, does not mean squat unless it is constantly (weekly) updated by you or, if you sign up and pay your 8 bones a year, automatically updated via the web by your antivirus service.

Message: Hi gang, another commercial message. It's about Cougartown membership. Last year, I had the bright idea that in addition to renewing my own membership, I was going to buy a year's membership for the sweetheart, Jeff Pieters '73 who introduced me to this site. Well, I did that as my special thank you to Jeff. This year, I have decided to give my gift membership to a special person whom I have reconnected with due to the magic of Cougartown. Mike Backus, it's you! I'm so glad to have you back in my life again as you represent memories all the way back to first grade. Doesn't get any better than that. OK, gang, who are YOU going to buy a membership for? Now, back to the regular program.....
Not exactly Madison Av. stuff, but pretty cool nonetheless. Thanks Sue.....Who's Next??

Message: Dear gang, Many of you are still infected with and trying to spread the Klez virus. It’s important that you understand that your virus protection programs only detect one version of this variation virus. Much like human virus’ this one tends to mutate with each infection. The only real way to make sure you are clean of this virus is to download and run the tool that was developed by Symantec. It’s free, it’s fun and your friends will love you for fixing the problem. The URL to get there directly is here
If you are local and need assistance with running the tool, email me at ct_helpdesk@yahoo.com include a daytime phone number and I’ll give you a call to walk you through the process.
Thanks a bunch!

Thanks Kathleen, People PLEASE do this, even if you think your computer is clean. Right now I'm getting approximately 30 to 35 Klez virus infected emails a day, but Norton is finding them. This thing won't go away unless EVERYONE downloads the removal tool and runs it on their computer. Just because your computer isn't acting up doesn't mean it's not infected.

If you have comments or suggestions, please email me at jb1@cougartown.com
