Message: To all you faithful Pac 10 fans, The Pac 10 is back and will Rule over the Big 10 for at least one or two more years. Thanks John and Russ for never doubting the Dawgs. Russ did you know that the Huskies coach is a former Bruin? Russ, sorry to hear of your misfortune with the accident and the Gall bladder Op. My wife had hers taken out a little over a year ago. She has had to completely change her diet by experimenting with different kinds of food.
Stephen Wolfe, Its good to see your post. You must let me know if you ever continued on with Track.
Take care all you Cougars and have a great New Year.

I think we could pick a #1 out of the PNW. I'd like to see Oklahoma go up against ANY of those teams and survive. Sorry Tom Burroughs, just my opinion, but they are dominant teams.

Message: Would I do a Ramma lamma solo? Perhaps....but NEVER in public!!! It seems there are a few female party animals in the house...COOL!! I'm back among the "Christians" once again and off my loom for a very short time. I've finished and given all the Yule gifts...however I have been roped into just one more Ruanna for my neighbor, and some lady cornered me while spinning, at the car wash (while I was waiting for the super-duper detail), and talked me into just one more scarf for skiing...and just one more shawl for a special client.....Will I ever get to make ANYTHING for me? I'm just a girl that can't say no....but, perhaps I shouldn't advertise that fact. A wish for a very happy and healthy new year to all my fellow Cougs!! Cheers, my friends, until I get off the loom again.

I got rid of my Gateway PC and just got my Dell laptop working on the Internet so I haven't been able to get on the Internet for a couple fo days being busy and all getting ready for the move back to Hawaii. Actually leaving now on Jan. 11. Last minute extras holding me up. I have an internal modem on this thing but I think I am getting a wireless modem for my laptop. Anybody out there have any suggestions on which one is best. Well evevryone once I get back in Hawaii I will keep you all abreast of what's happening. I just hope I can handle the change from this freezing desert to that barely bearable climate of those islands. I guess I'll have to suffer. Happy New Year again and John expect that check in the mail very soon. Keith

Message: OK.. True story here.. Marsha decided to prepared a "special dinner" New Years. She wanted "real baked potatoes" and so she oiled them down..put them in their little tin foil jackets..set the oven..and popped them in for an hour and a half~~When the timer went off she went back to retrieve um to find them only "warm" before she realized the oven was set on "preheat" the whole time.. so she quickly took them out of the foil jackets..popped them in the microwave for a nukin' and presented them as "twice baked potatoes"... Another recipe award to ROWDY MARSHA... (then she had the nerve to give me a recipe for salmon patties) Now, tomorrow the mail starts again..and you must get your money in for PROM NITE..(thought I'd forget to mention it- didn't ya) Wayne Dickey.. did you ask Donna to go to the Prom..or are you stag.

Message: Happy 2K01 to all of you fellow "Cougars". I wish you all strength for all the challenges and joys that will come your way in 01'.
I don't get a chance to read "Cougartown" as often as I'd like, but when I do, it's always fun to catch up on "Wuz Up" as my teens would say. I do ready my e-mail though!
We've been busy with our family of 5 (3 teens--YIKES!)--no wonder I love to travel and get away from it all! I've been busy selling leisure travel to clients, and traveling myself. In the last 4 months, I've explored Sonora Bay, Mexico, Jamaica and the 6 countries in the So. Caribbean. I know 2001 will bring our family back east in June to see my dad's relatives, and more travel dream adventures will be lurking in my brain to visit for the remainder of the year. Just like high school, always moving and on the go, I've been traveling ever since.
My brother, Don DiTomasso, Class of 75' would like to let Cougartown know that he had his surgery at Torrance Memorial and will be there for about 2 more days. He'll have several weeks of therapy for follow-up. Not a fun way to bring in the New Year! He is doing well for what he went through. He'd love you to e-mail him at: dond@ix.netcom.com.
Take Care and Travel On! E-mail me about your travel highlights and journeys.

Thanks Lila, for the update on your life, and on Don's. Get well Don. I know you can't type now so get some rest and you'll be back here before you know it.

Message: I see that everyone has put their happy wishes to all of CT. I also would like to convey my best wishes for all of those faithful readers and old alumni that take time out of their busy days to read and write into CT. As the new Year starts and the old one ends, we should take some time and reflect upon all the great times of past year. Remembering those we have lost, and looking to the future. CT has been and inspiration to many of us. With this new form of communication, all of Hawthorne alumni can be reunited. I have talked to many of old friends and met scores of new ones. We now live in the information age and should take full advantage of all of its channels. I see new names, everyday of people I have long forgotten, but the names still exist in my memory. I will be looking forward to every CT event this year and reacquainting myself with even more Cougars. PS. Judy the checks in the Mail! Or I'll never hear the end of it. Wayne
Thanks Wayne, Well said and I for one can't wait for the Cougartown class of 2001 to arrive. I know there'll be plenty of old friends from all classes and this year we're going after the Teachers and Administraters too.
Wayne, before you send the check, please go to the Prom Night sign in page and fill that out. Thanks for being a part of all this fun.

Message: Dear Fellow Cougars, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope everyone has nothing but good things coming to them throughout the year. Just remember, when everything seems to be too much, stop and tell someone near and dear to you, you love them. Look around and count the good stuff you have in your life. A partner who loves you, your childs smile and know that somewhere out there someone has it a whole lot worse than you do. I sort of have a saying that I repeat to myself constantly, "What does not kill you, makes you stronger" I have had to adopt that, because I have three kids (all boys) under the age of 7. One is autistic. But I count my blessings he is healthy in every way, as well as my other two. That is my message too all of you for now. I promise my next message will be lighter and possibly funny. John B., thank you so much for this page. I have never met you, but feel I do know you through this site. Have a great 2001, and let the real Millenium begin!
