Now back to my quest. Judy Wudy Blomsterberg
When it's right, it's easy...

Sounds like a winner to me. Actually if any of you have friends that want to join in the Prom Night fun, you can fill out the form for them, or print it out and let them fill in the blanks. That might make it a little easier. Thanks Judy......

Message: Hi everyone long time no post. Sorry to write in with bad news. In reply to the feedback about Mrs. Strahan that Margie posted, she passed away from cancer in April or May of 1999. I also had her as my spanish teacher and remained friends with her until her passing. If it is any comfort she had a very good outlook up until the end and didn't have to suffer for a long time. Her husband is still in South Orange County and dealing with things very well. Well thats all for now. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year in case I don't get a chance to write in any time before.
Thanks Lori, You have a great holiday too.

Message: I am so very very sorry to hear about Mike. He was a very close friend of my brother and dad and me. My dad was his baseball coach in little league a couple of years. He was truly one of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet in your life. Like most of us I haven't kept in close contact with many of my old buddies. I think about them alot. My two bestest friends and who I've known since I was 7 years old in Little League is Kurt Morlock and Greg Staffon. I am so lucky that we all still stay in touch. When I read about Mike even though I didn't stay in touch it hit me. I think about some of the times we had. I will miss him not so much for me but for the people who were close and saw and found out WHAT A GUY he is. My feelings go out to those people. Robert Sanchez I'll be here in Vegas as far as I know. Call my cell at 702-278-5897 and we'll get together.

Mike was a great guy and a great man and this world is just not going to be the same without him.

Message: I just received some sad news this morning. The class of 74 has lost one of their most prized people. Mike (Big Mac) McClain passed away Wednesday December 13th. No details were included. The following is the email I received;
John, This is a friend of (Big Mac) Michael E. McClain from Bakersfield. He passed away today 12/13/00 and if you could pass this information on to his friend's and fellow Cougars we would greatly appreciate it.
Friends of Big Mac
PS as soon as we hear of the funeral arrangements we will send them to you so you can notify his friends, or E-mail Teena1bzb@aol.com or Shovelish@aol.com

Big Mac, Thanks for all you did in life to make other people's lives better. Janet and I, along with Harry Plotkin and Kathy Brooks, thoroughly enjoyed the Junior Philharmonic at the Shrine Auditorium last July that you so generously provided. Thanks also for the ten year membership to Cougartown. I just know if you and I had been at HHS at the same time we would've been "joined at the hip" friends.
Most of all, thanks Big Mac for being my friend, albeit for such a short time. I will miss you.

1) Has anyone heard from Mrs. Vinci Strahan since last Christmas (1999)? She taught Spanish for many years at HHS. I exchanged cards w/her each year, but last year the card was returned to me as undeliverable w/no forwarding address. If anyone has any information on her, I would appreciate it.
2) Does anyone keep in touch w/Fionnula Murray? She graduated from HHS in 1985 and I would love to get in touch with her.
Thanks for taking the time to read through my message.

Got all the upgrades. I saw at CompUSA today laptop for around $1,200. I guess it depends on what you use it for. John when I get settled in back in Hawaii I will send you my dues past and present. Sorry I haven't done it ever before but I just forget things. Sorry. And I'm now not leaving till January 3 or 9. It's not cold here in Vegas unless you think in the 50's is cold. Can't wait to get back to the 80's in Hawaii. If you don't have anything to do on New Years they said here they will be putting on a fireworks show that will be far better than last years. All up and down the strip they will be firing off fireworks from 14 different locations on the strip. Should be nice. KDJ
