I ran across this picture of the guys in the 1961 El Molino. These guys were very good. At least I thought so at the time. Early 60's people, see if you recognize any of these PB (Pre-Beatles) up and coming musicians.

And Mr Baker AND PACO, whom I've heard nothing of since sc did the Titanic rerun, as far as uni colors go, sc's kind of remind me of a night out when my brother and I were in the service. He drank 14 boxcars, or sidecars or something such. Each one contained a CHERRY! Well he was really, really tuned. We all went back to the barracks and hit the rack. Well as nature commands I had to use the facility. There was no waiting, so I didn't have to use the sink,( you rowdy girls).:) Well low and behold there were all those CHERRYS and a few beer sausage and some crawdads (all you could eat for a buck in those days) in the urinal. The first thing that came to mind was, jeez those look exactly like sc's colors! Maybe even a ducks a.. if it was on fire. Boy that was a fun time.:) And on to a lighter subject. JB, JJ and I were hoping that maybe C-TOWN might try to plan a Fosters Run around Apr 13, a friday night? We'll be in town then and leaving sat evening. It would really be a kick in the ole posterior to see all you folks that have put up with my ramblings on this site. John. One last thing... subway series? ZZZ...snark...quack! I agree! MAY THE COUGAR BE WITH YOU. JAKE N JUDE.

Rojo, it really does seem like there is only a few of us from the class of "60". Do you think shyness comes with getting older???
I hate to admit this but I am a USC fan and have been all my life. My dad went there and my son graduated from there so what can I say. Rojo. we'll have to talk more about this before the big game. Camille Hill good to see you joined the feedback. I see that you are on the reunion committee. Please say hi to Rich & Mary Sloan and Pat Beltran for me and if you need any help let me know!!
John, as you can see I was behind on reading all the feedback but again as you can see from my email, contact is being made with old friends. Thanks again for all your hard work on keeping Cougartown alive!! Irene
Thanks Irene, it's been a blast.
On that USC team (cool Unis), I use to pull for them a week ago but now my team is the Oregon Duck Guys. Yep, we're goin' to the Rose Bowl and beat up on a Big 10 team. Hope to see you at the Prom next year. BTW, Prom News will be coming up shortly......stay tuned.

Message: Myrna, the HofbrauHouse sounds like a lot more fun than Alpine Village in Torrance. For now, the best I can do is Alpine.
I am curious of how the City of Coalinga was named. I have heard two stories. On is that the city was named after a Chinese cook, 'Ling'. The other one is that the railroad had coaling stations along their route. There were coaling station 'A', coaling station 'B', etc. As the story goes, the city was located near coaling station 'A', and hens the name Coalinga. Is there any truth in either one?
The difference is the place in Munich doesn't do the "Chicken Dance" like Alpine Village.

(I can call them "mine", since I'm dumping about 11 grand a year into their sports programs by way of stuff called tuition, fees, surcharges, etc.) Looking at what UofA did to the Condoms...ah...I mean Trojans, and Washington State in the past couple of weeks, I think the Ducks chances of winning equals a goose-egg.

Message: Hey Bill Jensen - a couple pages back you were talking about the polka band. I just returned from a whirlwind trip through some of Western Europe (remember the movie "If it's Tuesday, this must be Belgium"???) Anyway, one of the places my son took me was downtown old Munich to the HofbrauHouse. It was great! Too noisy to hold a conversation, there must have been at least 300 people in there (and I was probably the only adult not drinking beer). Between the oompah band, and the banging of the beer steins, and the singing/yelling, it was a wonderful evening. Even made me wish I liked beer so I could join in. The regulars have their own tables and their own lockers so that their steins are always available. If any of you ever make it to Munich, I highly recommend this place. Besides the atmosphere, the food was wonderful!!!

Message: JB...consider the jersey in the mail. I would send one to I-DY-HO if there was a chance his wife would wear it to bed every night until the Rose Bowl...I thought that Mr. Moto’s move was “THE CLAW” (or craw to him), he would grab his wrist and his hand became a weapon...Opponents would cower again the ropes when they saw it coming and beg for mercy. The announcers would scream ooohooo! Nooooooo!!!!it’s the Claaaaw!!! He would apply his vice like grip to the mid-section of his victim as they wrenched in agony and plead for their release. Then he would then rip their guts out and take a bite out of their fresh beating heart...Oh...Well...Maybe that last part was a flashback from the third quarter of the Oregon/UCLA game (and we needed something to balance out the Girl Scout stuff) So, was the claw by Mr. Moto, or was this another fantasy derived from an unconscious state induced by the sleeper hold. And Hoody, as far as babysitters go, you’re a swell guy and all, but I preferred “Candy”. She didn't need the sleeper hold. Thanks for introducing her to mom.
Dear fellow Duck fan, Everybody knows Mr Moto was famous for the Sleeper hold.
Now I know where I've seen that color on the UCLA jerseys.....We painted my son's room that color before we brought him home from the hospital. He started acting effeminate however, so we had to change the color to Pink.

This is old news, but, trust me, the courts will be involved again, according to the IRAA. Napster was created by a young man that had no idea what a pandora's box he was opening; standard record label companies will die or create other listening stations of this sort......enjoy, but realize that if the artists only make money from concerts, they won't be able to pay the suits & ties their 80+ percent; too bad!
