Message: Wow-eee Maui! So Judy and Jan succumbed to impulse and got hitched, too! Fantastic! Now you all have got me wondering. See, on May 31 there's a group of 10 of us, that are really close friends, all going to Maui for a week. Brad and I were toying with the idea of turning our 30 year mortgage commitment into something a little more legitimate. We may end up getting Mauied over there, too - who knows? Sounds like there's something in the air. How come John & Janet were not affected?
Ingrid, Janet and I, and Barbara Norris are the only ones that returned from Maui unscathed. Oh well, there's always next year. Hey, I say if it feels right, DO IT!!! Good Luck to you and Brad. Either way, I know you'll have a wonderful time.

OHHHHHHH !!!! and the same goes for Mr and Mrs Jan and Judy DeGrazia Blomsterberg. Yes, our Miss ROWDY Queen is now our Mrs. ROWDY Queen. They too decided to tie the big one and get "Mauied" in Maui. I have to say that this trip was a total BLAST. We started it off with a party at Dennis HHS60 and Ilene Campbells condo on Friday and didn't stop until we'd tamed the mighty road to Hana yesterday. In between was a fair amount of partying, marrying, receptioning, more married, more receptioning, snorkeling, MORE partying, dining, laughing and MORE laughing. Thanks to Janet, Larry and Virginia, Dennis and Ilene, Marsha and Robin, Jan and Judy, Dave and Sandy, Barbara, and a few others that I may have forgotten about. More pics to follow.

Message: Well, I saw that Miss Bell is retiring. I remember dreaming of (I mean thinking of) her when I'd see her walking around Peter Burnett. I was in 5th and 6th grade. She was very pretty and I know 95% (if not more) of the guys thought the same way. After I left Peter Burnett didn't see her at all until I was a bouncer at Tequilla Willies in Manhattan Mall. She was a regular. Still as pretty as always. I'm sure she hasn't changed. She was always very nice and could relate to the kids. She deserves the best and I hope everything is going great for her. As for Mike McClain. He was friends with me and brother and we played baseball together. He is truly a real nice guy and I hope everything goes good for him. Raymond Nelson you should try to get a hold of my brother. I knew you guys were good friends in high school. Also, dad why are you in Nebraska. Did you move there?

Message:OK Cougs, here's another close Cougar encounter from Jan Chauncey Norton. In her words:
We went to the NASCAR race last Sunday. We were setting up our tailgate party on the grass area in the parking lot and this Ford SUV parked a couple of spots down from us with a NV license. We got to chatting from 3 car lengths away and we asked them if they came from NV that morning or not. They asked where we were from - said LAX area. The gal asked Hawthorne. Richard said yes. She asked if he want to HHS. He said yes. She said we did too. When did you graduate. Richard said 60. Now Richard had on sunglasses and a hat. She had on sunglasses too. She said my husband graduated in 60. Who are you??? Richard said - Dickie Norton. She said OH MY GOD! It was
Sandie Tully. She graduated in 62. Then her husband Jim Perry HHS60 joined in the WOWING
and HUGGING.
WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!!! Out of 100K people - they parked next to us!!!!
Now that's a great story and I STILL say it's a small Cougar world out there folks. If you don't believe me, just wear your Cougartown Tshirt on a regular basis and see who comes up to you. Thanks Jan.....
