Message: To Karen C....Bart is a year older than me (50 is fun, eh Georgia!), and we both played on the FAMOUS 66 f'ball team that dined on Jackrabbit... we also shared a love for one Coug that left us a while back; miss ya Susie! Yesterday was a good one...spoke with Bart on the phone (he lives 10-15 mins from me), Schroeder on Email (his mom is around the corner), and Young on IM. Schroeder is coming down in the summer (to Vista), and Young is coming to Escondido next week. I got Halford's phone number too, and he lives in Young's old house in Bonsall. I'm sure that you got it already, as I had about 8 folks send those requested to me in about the same time it took Jim Reale to set the record in the 100 yard dash. Here's the Ambassador thang for now...Bart is having a golf tourney, and many Cougs are participating: Hector (he really plays) Carrillo, Paul Clark, Woody McCain, Bob Parisi, Dennis Higgins, Ronnie Baumgartner, Prince Sloey, and more (Steve Tambo will come I'm sure). Contact me if you want Bart's phone (didn't ask him if I could post it, and he doesn't do the puter stuff)...Anyway, we request the Rowdies (no cooking allowed), and Angel Hare (not the pasta), and all others to COME ON DOWN! It's to be played at San Luis Rey (beautiful Bonsall, home of Bill Halford) PS-You bet your sweet, ummmmm bippy, I am.
Hey Gary, This is NOT a politically correct website, so you can say, "You Bet Your Sweet Ass I Am" without fear of offending anyone here. Be a Coug boy.......

Sherry as to the languages, fluent English, Greek, and Spanish, so-so with Italian and Russian, knowledge of Portuguese, Polish, Bulgarian with a dictionary. Degree in Latin and Ancient Greek. Conversational knowledge of Arabic and Farsi (mostly I know how to say some really nasty things). Tell Mike Mecey hello for me! Bye for now. Jim

And Bart Graves went to Ramona and graduated from HHS with sister Linda, '66. Could there be two cutie pies named Bart Graves? How yummy would that be?

Gary Lents (and The Goddess) Either/Or is now on Aviation just up the street from that terrible carwash on the corner of PCH. Haven't been in there, it just isn't the same as the old building! And Gary, how do you know Bart Graves? He's just a "bit" younger than you. We went to St. Joseph's together. What a hunk! Also YBYSAIA back at ya!To The Goddess also known as Idabuh (what do you want, we became friends when I was 2 and Liz was 3!)Anyway, Spin & Marty is still on Disney channel once in a while, late at night. The stars name was Tim Considine and my dad's name is Jim Considine. We used to get phone calls from Tim's fans, guess they couldn't tell the difference between a "T" and a "J" in the phone book! And hey Georgia Cook, everyone else was doing it so Happy Birthday!

Rumor has it the owner was a former Australian surfer who met one of Benchley's creatures before Richard Dreyfuss and lost his right arm and his left leg. He made quite an impression the first time you saw him...if he was sober. Litton are you still somewhere? El Rojo red is beautiful! And finally my friend Bill Young and I were talking and we were remembering old class mates but then again any class mates of ours are old, with some exceptions, (now if you want to complain about this comment you are in the exception category) and we were wondering whatever happened to our dear old friend and unparalleled character MORRIS LIPSON. We are only interested in where he is now if you know please share. Schroeder are we going home to Cavalier for the summer? Did you know Wanda Shippey's sister lives near Cavalier? Message: I don't mean to sound like a nag or a whiner, but some of you out there on the alumni list ( and you know who you are) should not even be there. What I mean by that is, you have your e-mail addresses out there for old classmates to e-mail you and say something, then half of you don't even bother to answer back. I've had a few people e-mail me that I either didn't remember or did not wish to keep corresponding with, but hey, when you put your name out there, and when someone takes the time out of their busy day, would it kill you to just say something back? Common courtesy, people. Think about it. I answered those people back. And it didn't kill me to do it, either. As my mom used to say:"Either piss or get off the pot!"
But, for the most part, the rest of you have been great! I've been talking to people I haven't talked to in like 20 or so years! Nice to know some people still have manners and care about old classmates.

I don't think I ever lost a race going down the Avenue in my 67 Fastback. We were always looking for a party and found a few I think. And speaking of the Avenue I haven't heard mention of Grecko's Sandals and Headshop. I do believe it is still there but my needs are now more towards the sandals end, haha! I am as always "just kidding"!! Don't spill the bong water!! kidding again! Anyway, I always liked the little custard thing at the Kettle that came with every meal and has nutmeg on the top. Bought quite a few bikinis at Mickies and used to watch my boyfriend "shoot the pier" which I always thought was unbelievable that he didn't hit a piling. People used to jump into the ocean from the end of the pier also, the unlucky few got arrested 'cause they didn't do it first! And now a request to King John, please oh please do not use my senior picture again, my junior picture at least has my eyes open! Looking forward to the next Fosters get together, I'll tell Dale Hahlbeck it starts 2 hours earlier! And to Pat Vedenoff, you can't be serious, that was a joke right?
OK, all this talk about 26th St, the Ocean, Maui, etc, has prompted theCougartown Surf Slang page. It's up now, and to get there please go to the Slang Page.
