Message: I thought I'd just throw this in for a laugh. On Halloween Day in 1978 I truly wanted to win the Costume contest so with the help of my sister I dressed up as the infamous "Rocky Horror Dr. Frankenfurther" himself. I was covered with a long cape all day. Even my German teacher Mr. Graham thought I was "Daring", but I kept covered until showtime. As I exposed myself I knew I was having loads of laughs but I was very angry that I almost lost to a clown! I took alot of guts and when my wife heard about it she thought I was nuts (what do you expect from a guy born in Hollywood)? Now a little incident occured before the show. 2 girls asked me to go across the street to the Park with them and gave me no reason as to why. I'm glad I didn't because I either would of had a good time of a very very bad nightmare moment. Gail, Kristen, toooooo bad. If I did that today I probably would of been expelled from school. but I had alot of fun.

Message: TO LARRY BILLER: Larry I should have KNOWN that Ken Roberts would be involved with a song title like that!! What's HE up to anyway? Ken was also involved with MY first recording experience too. We (Dovie Modean), were rehearsing one night at Jim Lenn's house and in waltzed Ken...uh..let me rephrase that....in BOUNCED Ken and said "hey Joe, you wanna be on a record?" I said "sure"! A couple of days later we went over to Kenny Roger's Quantaum studios in Torrance (sans Dovie Modean), and I did piano on a couple of songs that he wrote. The record didn't do much but the producer of the session wound up using me on half the album which he recorded later on. So I got more sessions at Quantaum and over at Gold Star in Santa Monica. I owe Ken thanks for that. On one session of that project, I had to "ghost" for a piano player that did the basic song okay, but he did a terrible solo. So, they just punched me in on top of it then out and the guy never even knew!! That WAS about the last time I saw or spoke to Ken and that was the early seventies. Are you still in touch with him? Catch you later.

Message: It is my most sincere wish that each and all of Cougartown, partake of the most wonderful Christmas that every was since the first. May you share the gifts, foods and company of those most dear, and remember those during your moment of silence that cannot be with you for whatever reason. As much as Thanksgiving recall for a moment the wonders of our age, and at the time, the values we may have put aside for the sake of conveniences. My second is my special thanks to Jake. (my heart Donor and his family) But for Jake and his family, I wouldn't be here sharing this holiday. My deepest thank you. If you're not an organ donor, please think about the gift of life that you can give. And please please, tell your family what your wishes are.
My last wish is that everyone will stay home reading feedback and out of my way, as I am going Christmas shopping now. I swore this year I wasn't waiting till the very last minute, and since this is dated and time stamped, I have absolute proof, in the event I need it, that I didn't goof off this morning, but hit the bricks early....my parting wish....save me a GOOD parking place at the mall.
