Message: John,
I am really looking forward to Friday! Susan said I can be a Heavenly cake judge! She is with me in wanting to get revenge on Chris for wanting me to judge cakes so he wouldn't have to provide me a Birthday Cake!!
Oct 14th is my birthday!
I will be a VERY young 52!!
I have a 16 year old grand-daughter!!
Patt

16 year old grandaughter??!! Let's see.....carry the 3.......-16.......and your offspring was say 25.....Yeah, I'd say you were about 11 when you had that child. What is 11, the 6th grade?? I guess you hadn't studied multiplication yet.
Yes Patt, you will be a judge in the cake bakeoff. Gee I hear LeeRoy's wife, Beulah is going to enter a cake too. I wonder if she can cook. I guess you'll be the judge of that huh Patt. We'll see you on Friday.......

Message: John...now that I have introduced my hubby...so to speak...here's a lovely piece of mail he sent me today...I'm sure you can appreciate it, as well as most all the men out there. It's about men bashing...or more to the point...It's for men who are tired of men bashing jokes....
Q- How many men does it take to open a beer?
A- None. It should be open by the time she
brings it.
Q- Why is a laundromat a really bad place to pick up a woman?
A- Because if she can't afford to buy her own washing machine she'll never really be able support you.
Q- Why are woman's feet smaller than men's?
A- So they can stand closer to the kitchen sink.
Q- How do you fix a woman's watch?
A- You don't. There's a clock on the oven.
Q- Why do men pass gas more than women?
A- Because women won't shut up long enough to build up pressure.
Q- If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first?
A- The dog, of course. At least he'll shut up after you let him in.

Christine, Is your husband's name LeeRoy ??

Actually, with just my hair pulled back I'm okay. It's when Ron, my husband, decides to play tarzan and drags me by it, is when I get into trouble and have all kinds of memory problems!
Memory problems?? Now see, you've got to quit beating your head against a hot rock to dry your hair.

Message: Well John, as you already know, my John and I will not be able to make it this weekend either. I cannot tell you how depressed this has made me. I was in town last month, and will be in town in November, but just can't seem to squeeze in another trip down this month. And Myrna, "I" would have stopped and said "hello", if I could have pulled it off. Just know, we will be there in spirit. Next time I'm in town, Loretta, Linda, Tonya, John, and I will "do lunch" and get our own pep rally going. GO COUGARS....
I was wondering where you've been hiding. I thought maybe you were going to surprise us and be here. AH that's all right. We've got 3 people from the Best 60's Class anyway. That'll have to get the job done. Thanks Cheryl and tell the duck killer that John says hey........

Message: John, I've been right here readin' away. ") Thanks for the birthday wish. I guess I need to offer some kind of HALF BAKED excuse as to why I can't remember my own age. Sorry to say but the last time I had by hair peroxided, I think the solution was a little too strong and it may have had some effect on what remaining brain cells I have left. The fact that it's been so blasted hot here in Texas all summer long, and it's still in the 90's with 90% humidity, also might have something to do with it. You see, I've had to pull my hair back, just so I can breath, and it could be that I've pulled my hair back a little too tight of late. Or.... it could be do to the fact that I've lied for so many years that now I can't remember. I think these things could have contributed to my complete scatter brainess as to just how old I really am. So..... if you care to do the math......DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! ") At any rate, I can say this though, and with great certainty....I AM DEFINITELY YOUNGER THAN KATHY! ") gotchya Oh, and Kathy....make it a Lime daquiri ...k? TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE GOING.....HAVE A BLAST, AND REMEMBER.....YOU'RE CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY! HEHE
I know why you're feeling so tired and it's not the Texas heat and humidity. You've pulled that blonde stuff so tight that your eyes won't close. You need SLEEP!!Thanks Christine........

Message: For those who are requesting the address for Recreation Park in El Segundo, it is 401 Sheldon Street. The picnic area is located on the North side of the park, and the closest entrance area is off of Pine Street. I will have signs posted to direct you to our area, however, it should be easy enough to find if you look for the "Scarlet & Gold." Please remember to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and your picnic lunch. We have tables reserved, and a very large grass area too. See you there! Susan
We'll be on the North side of the park all right, but there's parking on the South and West side, so you may want to drop your belongings off, and then go park, if the parking is used up on the North side.

I don't always get a chance to see all of "feedback" for some reason they expect me to work. Anyway, I told Judy D. yesterday while she was thinking twice about the "BIG" event, that at least she could have e-mailed about "Pinks" because I missed all of the banter prior. Oh well, maybe next time when she won't take up sooo much room in the car.

Yeah, it was so crowded in the Durango the other night that we made Judy hangem' out of the window so Sloey could breathe. Judy, just think, next time you can sit back and just enjoy the ride.
Loren, The merriment starts between 10:30 and 11am. I'll see you there.
