Message: Yes, Cruise Night was a blast. Thanks again for a great time. We ALWAYS have fun with you Baker man! Dizzy, Bill and Bob, Dan, Marsha, Kathleen, Debi, Clark, Bob, Cathy and Mike, Robin, Joyce, Harry and Cathy, Mo, Carmen and of course, Bodacious Glo, gosh, you're fun!! Though it's great to meet up with your own old classmates at these events, a big part of the best of it is meeting all the Cougs from other years and of course, seeing some of those from other classes we haven't seen in a long time. Or, especially, finally putting a face to the names who post here in CT. I'm so glad to have met you now face to face! For any of you who have never gotten around to visiting the "Recollections" page, do so. I'd been visiting CT for a few years before I ever did and was stunned at what I'd been missing! I've met some of the authors of those memories at these gatherings and that has been a pleasure. Fellow Cougs have put in writing the very experiences we all had growing up.....take the stroll. Better yet, let's hear from YOU!
Thanks Sue, The Recollections Page is a fun way to get your memory flogged, that's for sure. Lots of fun stories and antecdotes from lots of Cougars past.

I remember you; and, I also remember your husband's mom working in an administration job at HHS, where I would go and get mimeograph copies made.(How many coug's remember having to use THAT dinosaur...what would we do without a Xerox machine today? I can still remember the smell of the blue ink used.) She was such a kind lady; (well, so was her son, Bob.) Susie, c'mon and post here on feedback and give us the '411' girl. Hey, does anyone live in the Miraleste Canyon Estates in Rancho Palos Verdes? If so, I will have an extra parking space available soon in the lower canyon. E-me. :-) And, Debi Lee McGregor, is it possible that you get MORE youthful looking everytime you attend a cruise nite? What's your secret, girl?! BTW, can anyone identify the pics at cruise night without names attached to them? Who the heck are these people?? :))
There were so many pictures, I just didn't have time to add the names (the ones I knew). Sorry about that. Thanks Enza, and good luck in your new digs.

Message: I thought I would share a couple memories of teachers....Mr. Williams Art class...Mr. Williams always played his music during class...I remember Johnny Mathis singing Changes Are....I had this tendency to paint in time of his music.....I hope no one noticed. Also in 1966, I believe...We went on a field trip in his class. We went to some art show in downtown LA...I remember we were all outside waiting for the bus to pick us up and take us back to HHS...Everyone thought it would be fun to look up at a tall building and pretend that some one was going to jump....The point to this was to see how many people passing by would look...some did, but not everyone. Then we pretended that someone was sick on the ground and everyone got into a circle....Saying things like "back up and give him some air" It was all funny then, but I guess we are lucky that we all didn't get in trouble...I was in the 10th grade and my sister Roberta, who was also there was in the 11th grade. I also have one memory of Mr. Caldwell, my math teacher....I am not too proud of this but.....One day we were having a math test, and I did not study for it, nor did I understand it. I was so shy then that I couldn't get the nerve to ask for help....So I copied answers from the girl who sat in front of me ( first name was Nicki). Mr Caldwell caught on and told us we were both getting f's for it. I felt soooo bad for Nicki, cause she was innocent...So I confessed and took my well deserved f. Nicki didn't get an f.
I can not believe I did that....Oh...another memeory....Mr Caldwells name was Robert L Caldwell, and my sisters name was Roberta L Caldwell....She had Mr Caldwell for math too....and was teased a lot about them....Like one kid asking her if she and her dad were going camping that week end....My dads name was Robert P Caldwell....I enjoy all those teacher stories, as well as the neighborhood ones....I love it all!!!!!!

Here's the recipe...carmelize a half a cup of sugar in a cake pan on the stove, med heat...very carefully. Coat all sides of the pan. In a blender, put one can of sweetened condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, one 8oz pkg of cream cheese cut up into small cubes and add three room temp eggs. Blend for half a minute. Pour into the coated baking pan and place that pan into a larger pan with 1/2 inch of water in it and bake in a pre heated oven 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Invert it after it's cooled a bit and eat it up with a big ol spoon. Easier than apple pie. Next time I'm in your neighborhood I'll stop by. Love you guys. DZ

Hi Keith, now don't take it personally but we have people showing up at Ctown events from Connecticut, Maryland, Greece, Washington, Alaska, Michigan, South America, etc, so a little 4 hour ride on a big ol' plane won't hurt at all.
