This site is a favorite with the Olympians too, So Babe Anderson [its a guy honey] I will call you, and Scuderi too. After all many of the Olympians are Hawthorne folks too and regardless of the stuff we throw back and forth some great people too. And Mike Backus don't email me anymore...unless you attach some of the Shinook to the attachment! Seriously, kudos to Mr. Backus who just caught a 26 pound Shinook Salmon,... or so he says. And Pinks was featured on the Gilligan Island movie Sunday.
Hey, I just know when to turn around and head back. And Mike, just make sure you keep your Shinook out of the pepperoni bucket.

Message: Hey John, so glad your back. I have been going through feedback withdrawals, started getting the shakes on day 1, and hallucinations on day 2. I have no hair left on my head, from pulling it out.
Hope you and JB2 had a wonderful time in Wine Country, if any two people deserve a break, it would be you two. Hope you got my membership check, so no more freeloading this site.
Missed you guys, and glad to have you back.

Hi Jill, Thanks....and thanks for the membership check too. Janet and I had a great time and always look forward to wine country. I think Cougartown might try another wine country weekend next Spring. It'll be a small group (about 30) so be watching for it.

Message: Hey John B.- This seems like a good time to tell you ONCE AGAIN that you have changed my life dramatically for the better through all of your work on CT. I will not belabor the emotional state that I was in before Sue B. found me and drug me in here wet and sputtering. The short form is that I had lost the best part of myself. If you need help posting feedback, doing graphics, laying out html pages, shovelling horse s**t, all you have to do is ask. I've noticed that you're human. It doesn't keep 99.999% of us from loving you and knowing that we are DEEPLY IN YOUR DEBT. In conclusion I have but one thing to say; "When are we going to build that virtual model of the A&W?" Hang in there bud. WE LOVE YOU MAAAAAAAAN!
Thanks Mike, in the events of the day, I'd kinda let that A&W thingy slip to the back burner. I appreciate all that you do for the website. Your stories are the best and you are one of the people I think of when I say I've found some great friends from other eras. Thanks for volunteering too and don't worry, I won't put you in the stable with a spade.

Message: Hello John, First off lemme tell you that ive put a check in the mail today.....really. you should be recieving it this week, if not you have my permision to publicly ridicule me and call me names here on ctown. I had hoped to meet you and all the others at cruise night, even had my 67' 427 stingray cleaned and ready to roll, but unfortunatly i had to work the entire weekend. Perhaps next event.... Ive read so much about all the people here at ctown that i feel like i knowem, well kinda. Anyway, about these flattering pictures that you posted, please repostem, cmon i wanna see them. Were they that funny? With all that ive read about Judy (only one last name please) Blomsterberg, she seems like a great gal with a helluva sense of humor, im sure that she probably got a kick out of them as well. In light of all the recent events of the world today i find it hard that people would get so upset over such trivial stuff. As Rodney King would say, " can we all just get along?" I for one really appreciate the hard work and time you put in here...i have to admit that im way too lazy to do such hard work, so thanks so much. You know ive checked in on ctown several times from different countries just to see whats up around here, kinda makes me feel like im home....kinda. Well enough of my rambling on and on..keep up the good work, hope to meet you and all the other characters around ctown face to face soon. Eddie
Hey Eddie, thanks for that. I've had a blast doing this stuff. I've met lots of nice Cougs from different eras and have re-acquainted myself with lots of friends from my era. The pictures I've erased. Thanks for the membership check and for checking in once in a while, and please feel free to come to any Ctown event that you want. No Pressure. Always do what you want in life as long as it doesn't harm others, and in your case, "keep the shiny side DOWN" Thanks again.....

Message: Gee John B. is this why so few showed up for Cruise Night? If so, how pathetic. I, as so many others, are so very glad that this site is available to reminisce and remember the good times of our youth. In light of the state of our world, it would be nice for us all to pick carefully what we feel we need to gripe about, especially when those complaining don't have the whole story or the real truths. None of us should point the perverbial finger at anyone, even if we know the whole story behind whatever BS seems to be filtering through this beloved CT site. Just as in every situation there are two sides. None of us can allow any situation to undermine the effort John has put into this CT page. If someone has a gripe, handle it offline. Those not involved do not need to hear about what someone's opinion is about something they know nothing about. Our world is in turmoil, let's not bring that turmoil to this venue. This site has become a blessing to many of us. It brought me back home after leaving 30 years ago. It has opened my heart again to old and priceless friends and memories. It has allowed me to make new friends and new memories. Just as we are Americans and supporting our country, so should we support this CT site and weed out what may cause it harm. If someone was upset about an unflattering picture being viewed, then they should not have put themselves in the position to have had that picture taken. Aren't we all adults. Let's let go of this and move on and leave behind those who need the attention. So who ever missed Cruise Night, you missed a great evening and I missed seeing you there. John I am sorry you missed talking to Pat Williams and hearing the roar of the engine. I had 21 years of talking to do, and Pat thanks for the flattering comment, and John can you prove you saw me in diapers some 48 years ago, is there a picture I don't know about? If so please show it on CT for all to have a good laugh. Speaking of pictures....No let's not. Let's act like the middle aged people we are an
Thanks Barbara, Sorry but the formmail will only accept so many words. See Keith, it happened again, and it wasn't you.
You are correct. This is a place to reminisce and have fun. Let's do that from here on out. I will be either asking for volunteers or just automating lots of the website. I've done my part and now we've got lots of Cougars involved and it's time for me to give lots of attention to my favorite Coug and the love of my life, Janet.
Paco, you can put up all the pics you want. Everyone please send your pictures to Paco from now on. Judy, you can keep the Prom pics or just send them on to Paco, as I changed a few things in the Memory Book which BTW will be sent out in mid January. Paco, you'll get a free memory book too and so will Janny and Judy. You all did a great job on the Prom.
To all who've been emailing, asking me about the pics on Pacos website right now, they are from the Prom Committee dinner at Arturos on September 15th.
Thanks to all...... I LOVE YOU GUYS MAAAANN!!!

I won't get into the bruhaha that's rumbling in CT but I will remind everyone that the time you personally put into this site is done through the kindness of your heart. The equipment and services however are another story. I'm not sure when my dues are due or if they've passed but this seems like a good time to pay them again. I would encourage others to do the same. Everything has its price and the cost of attending CT on a daily basis is, uh, PRICELESS. Man I hope the Visa people weren't listening to that. They're liable to sue me.
Hey thanks Bob, Dues are due in June. If you've never signed up for membership, please go to the Student Info page and fill out that form before sending your membership money. Thanks Cougs....

Now to throw in my 2 cents about the Prom pictures. Given current events, this seems a little petty, but I do not know the whole story. As usual there are two sides to every story and everyone involved with the prom worked very hard to ensure that those attending have a good time. So please, kiss and make up, because life is too precious to harbor any bad feelings. John, this is a terrific site, I cant even imagine the hard work you put into it, some would give up. John, don't you usually tell people to go there to see any pictures taken...am I wrong?
No, it didn't get lost. I actually didn't think that was you, and NO Paco is NOT Ctown's resident photographer, doesn't handle Cougartowns pictures, and YES, you are WRONG. He might steal a few off the website, but they've already been seen here. Cougartown puts up it's own pics, and BTW the candid pics that you sent Paco were Cougartown property. Those were exclusively for the Memory book so that was a DEFINITE no-no Momo. Those pictures weren't yours to give away. Thanks for all your help and another FREE Memory book is on it's way.
