Message: I know we should not use Feedback to send personal messages to individuals, however, the e-mail address posted on the Alumni List for Hector Aizpuru ('75) seems to be invalid.
Anyone know how I can reach him or his older sister, Patty Aizpuro Peck ('74)? Your help would be appreciated.
And Hector, if you check Feedback and see this post, please check in and let us know your current e-mail address. Thanks.

Hi Ingrid, Absolutely no problem with trying to find someone on the Feedback page. When it's the unending banter by two or three individuals about some subject that's of interest ONLY to those individuals, then I think it should be handled via personal email.
Also, "email forwards" are taboo on the Feedback page as I have to format them and frankly it's very time consuming.
99 percent of the Feedback is interesting to a certain era that reads it. If someone is talking about the 80's and you want to hear about the 50's then I say start a 50's topic. Don't be shy on the Feedback page folks. Bring It On!!

Paco, you'll have to ask Sandy about pictures of Rikki, I don't have a single one. Thank you all for your getting in touch. Sandy, didn't you say something about Betty Bell? I haven't heard from her. Love to all,

Message: Just got back from Pink's this afternoon (Wednesday). What a good time! Lots of laughs Saturday night. Brought back a lot of fond memories from around Felton Market in the '50's. Great to see everyone who showed up at Pink's. I took a nostalgic tour of what's left of the old town. HHS looks pretty seedy. My old home-place is under an onramp to the Century freeway. First time I've seen the neighborhood since that freeway went in. Time marches on... I'm looking forward to the next get-together - It only takes 10 hours from my door to LAX and that includes a 3-1/2 hour drive to St. Louis with one plane change along the way.
Good to see everyone....
Bob

Hey Bob, Good to see you too. Great talking with you too. I guess we'll see you down the road somewhere.

Hey, it's been too many years to remember EVERYONE (unlike some others who knew just about everyone who ever attended HHS...plus what kind of car they drove, what size engine they had under their hood and what color the car was!) Gee, did I mention that "those" people also knew who was dating who...and probably where they worked. Ring any bells, John boy?

I remember the name they had painted on their cars too. Thanks Janny
OH, you got the three in the middle, but the other two are still up for grabs.

Message: OH MY GOSH! I HAD FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT DRESS CODES. I REMEMBER BEING PULLED OUTSIDE BY MR. REYNOLDS DURING SUMMER SCHOOL BECAUSE MY DRESS WAS TOO TIGHT AND TOO SHORT. GEEZ IT WAS ONLY ABOUT 2" ABOVE MY KNEES. HE WANTED TO KNOW IF MY MOTHER KNEW WHAT I LOOKED LIKE WHEN I LEFT THE HOUSE AND I SAID, YES, AS A MATTER OF FACT SHE MADE THE DRESS FOR ME. I STILL REMEMBER THAT DRESS, IT WAS A SIMPLE LONG SLEEVED SHEATH DRESS, DARK PURPLE, A LITTLE FORM FITTING AND ONE OF MY FAVORITES. THAT WAS DURING THE DAYS I COULD ACTUALLY WEAR SOMETHING TIGHT AND STRAIGHT. NOW DAYS LOOSE AND COMFORTABLE IS MORE MY STYLE!!!! ALSO REMEMBER WHEN THE GUYS WORE THEIR CORDS AND PENDLETON SHIRTS WHICH HAD TO BE TUCKED INTO THE PANTS. MY HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JOHN, I TOO AM ONE THAT REALLY ENJOYS THIS SITE AND ALTHOUGH I DON'T GET A CHANCE TO LEAVE FEEDBACK OFTEN, I DO CHECK IT ALL THE TIME. THIS SITE HAS REALLY MADE ME WANT TO RE-EVALUATE MY LIFE AND RETURN TO SOME OF THE SIMPLER THINGS IN LIFE. IT HAS BROUGHT BACK SO MANY MEMORIES. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON AT ONE OF THE GET TOGETHERS.
Thanks Billine, I remember the Pendletons and cords too. How about the white socks and loafers for the guys. It wasn't cool unless at least 3 inches of your socks were showing ala Dennis Lord HHS63 above. Great remembrances. BTW, anyone recognize the rest of this group?

Thanks John for all the work you do on making it work. I had one disappointment on june 21th i went to H.H.S.grad. My good friends daughter was graduating that night. What has happened to our school, the football field had weeds on it, stands looked like they still had the paint on them from 64, and the school just didn't look right...Am I the only one who has seen this???? Had a great time with all my friends, just wish it could have lasted longer.. thanks again John.

Message: Mr.John Baker....what can I say? Another HUGE hug for you and hey, you are really too humble as to what you do for people in here, you really are!
Last night, I had a reunion with two old friends, Valerie Rosauer, whom I haven't seen since 9th grade, and Marilyn Horne, whom I haven't seen since I graduated! Valerie moved up here to Oregon after our Freshman year got done. I had looked for her for years, and to no avail. Then, through Bonnie McCoy ( thanks a million, Bonnie) she guided me to her, although Val was in the alumni list all along...I was just too blind to see it ( going blind and senile before 40...YIKES!)
So John....what can I say? You are, always will be and forever will stay THE MAN to me! You are the BEST!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! HUGE HUG FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Anita, I'm glad Cougartown had a part in finding your friend. I know there're plenty of others who've shared that same experience but it's so nice when it happens to you huh. Thanks for sharing your story.

Message: Dress Code, when I was in school we couldn't wear pants ever. Short skirts were just happening. If a teacher thought your dress or skirt was too short you had to kneel down, if your skirt didn't touch the ground it was to short, you had to go home and change. Happened to me a few times. I remember when my brother was in school, boys couldn't wear levi's. they actually had to dress up, I must admit there is nothing wrong with looking neat and clean when you are going to school. Dress code good thing. I see young kids come in the store looking for work and I wonder if they have even looked in a mirror. Dress code good thing.

They finally relented and said girls could wear sweats but they had to be RED only. Sweat pants weren't in my mothers budget so I just froze my fanny off in 1st period P.E. The boys wore what ever they wanted. Life just isn't fair.

I think maybe you worked with us at the time when Sonny had hired this gooneybird (can't remember his name) but according to him he had done just about everything from brain surgery to qualifying for the land speed record (in his austin sedan) If bullshit was music this guy would be a brass band.. Old Charlie Ramey couldn't even look at him and keep a straight face. Do you remember Charlie?? anyway it's nice to talk to you Terry. Hey John, Do you remember Sonny's brother in law Rick Prenavost and his black 1956 Buick Century two door with the stick shift?? beautiful car.
Can't wait till the next Frosties trip
M.S.

Nope, don't remember Rick, but the other guy I do remember, and I think his name was Hicks or something like that. I do remember Sonny's 58 Chevy and the odd trim on it. It was a powder blue and white Bel Air body with the Impala top scoop and a few other Impala trim parts. Instead of having Bel Air insignias, they said "Impala Special". The only one I ever saw in my life.

Message: Fellow 71 grads, do you remember how hard we fought for a free dress code? If it was raining the girls could wear slacks, but if it stopped raining you had to go home and change back into those short mini skirts that were so revealing and hard to sit like a lady in. Where is the logic in that. They thought that if we were able to wear slacks to school then the whole school would go to pot and the next thing there would be graffiti all over the place and vandalism etc. The last time I was in Calif. and saw the school, it had bars all around it and graffiti all over the place. I wonder if girls wearing slacks to school could have had such a dramatic effect. What do you think? Still looking for Dan Jones, Lillian Dana and Cindy Appleton. Thanks, Chris
Hi Chris, I believe the bars aren't so much to keep the good elements on campus but to keep the bad elements off campus and school was virtually graffiti free on Car Show day. In fact they're in the process of painting the school. The Kye Courtney Memorial Gym has been restored along with the girls locker room.

Message: Combining wine country and NASCAR could be serious fun. If I could, I'd be there. I haven't had a chance to watch last Sunday's race from Sears Point yet (I have it on tape). Thought Jeremy Mayfield's comments after last week's race were great (in other words Dale, turn about is fair play). I'm a Rusty Wallace fan myself, but have a feeling Matt Kenseth is going to be a driver to be reckoned with in the future. I wasn't too impressed with Dale Jr.'s driving last year, but this year is another story. I'll bet every race fan has their own opinion on which driver is the best/ their favorite. That could be some spirited feedback.
vroom, vroom.
Gas prices in Southeastern Wisconsin are on the way down, just when they are going up in other areas. Average for regular is down to 1.87 from a high of 2.04 last week. Guess this week we won't need to take out a bank loan to fuel up the GMC!

I'm pulling for Dale Jarrett as our own Sonoma Creek Winery's Mike Doyle is part of the pit crew. I also like the Earnhardt's too, so I guess I'm pulling for the "Dales".
