John, I know you had something to do with it too, so thank you. I hear my folks talk about your web, how good it is, and fun. I will be checking it out. Thank you EC
Hey Eric, Glad to have you aboard as the first new millenium graduate to sign on, and the first new millenium Cougartown member too. Thanks for being out there and congratulations on graduating from HHS.

Message: Hey JB, Just wondering if it takes a long time for the star to show or am I going to have to wait till next year for my check to clear too? lol, Happy one month anniversary to the newlyweds! I like Judy's idea about when she is called the ex's name she receives a new outfit, but in my case it won't work. His ex was Elizabeth too! But he cheats and calls me Flaca ( I think he called all of the others Flaca as well) that way he wont get caught saying the wrong name!...Hey Ray Nelson, I'd love to send you some of our Panhandle rain. We had four straight days of it last week. I'm trying to have a yard sale but every weekend it rains! Where is everyone? I feel like I'm in a ghost town...oh well, hope somebody out there reads this.. you all have a good weekend and God bless...Liz
Sorry about that Liz, and to all you other Members out there, if you've sent in your dues and your star hasn't shown up, please let me know. I DO make mistakes. Thanks Liz for clueing me in, and you now have your very own

Message: Hey Ray Nelson - the rain I thought I was sending to you got misdirected - yesterday it was warm and sunny and I was driving home from work thinking what a perfect evening to sit out on the patio with a drink before dinner. Well as I approached Burlington, the sky started to darken and the thunder and lightning began to spark. Before I hit the outskirts of town, "The Rains Came"! Guess I didn't put on enough postage and the rainy stuff was returned to sender!

Message: I just have to say that last night, through the generosity of Big Mac McClain HHS74, Janet and I, along with Harry Plotkin and Cathy Brooks, spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Shrine Auditorium listening to the Jr Philharmonic Orchestra with Dr. Ernst Katz conducting. I don't know how old Dr. Katz is, but this is his 63rd year of conducting the Jr Philharmonic. I know I know, but JB, the Lakers were playing last night. This was way better, and these kids don't make millions of dollars for their performances. So thanks Mac for the tickets and thanks Harry and Cathy for being there with us. We all had a great time and I'd love to do it again next time.

I'm telling ya, I've lived in this area of Oregon for close to 15 years and the Rose Festival has worked like a charm...maybe you guys can have the Billy Goat Fest...what about that? Just a suggestion!

I thought they had all gone out of business, but when I visited my parents in Temecula, California in January (south-east of LA in Riverside County - off I15), the new mall had a brand new Farrells. Of course, we went in for lunch and everything was just as I remembered it. Take care.

Message: Hey Sharon MacDonald. Instead of rain from Wisconsin we got your cooler temps and low humidity. Many thanks. I hope your son is able to get his lawn established. We are on a 10 am to 10 pm mandatory water ban. So any left over rain would be very nice. Long term forecast calls for much above average temps and below average rain fall. It will be muggy and buggy out here where the billy goats romp.

Message: I just noticed some "KID" from the class of 2000 signed up as an alumni. I think first of all that may be a premature presumption on his part or alternatively a statement that he is no longer attending school succumbing to that age old disease without cure called senioritis. I suggest we remove the "KID" from the list until we see an authentic diploma in his hand! Whose kid is that anyway? And why isn't he studying for finals like we never did? Get a job "KID." Sloey
Yes, that "KID" better pass or his name comes off the alumni list.

Message: It was so nice to visit the south bay this last weekend. I met with friends at El Pollo Inka restaurant in Torrance and it was great to chit chat about the good ol' days. Being there reminded me of going there when the restaurant used to be a Farrells ice cream parlour. I remember going there after the football games. When on a date there I'd order a small sundae. When I went there with the gals I'd order the Pig Trough and really enjoy it. Later the place became "Eat at Ed's" which was a fun place too. Where do the current HHS crowd hang out after the games? Starbuck's? Seems like the coffee houses have sprouted up everywhere. Farrells was a lot more fun. The 1975 varsity football team made it into a couple of CIF games so we had reason to party. It's been too long since I've visited CT and it's sure nice to be back!
Glad to have you back Sharon.....please stay tuned.

My son and his family just moved into a new house in Loganville, GA and need the rain for their new grass. If rain doesn't arrive soon, perhaps you could teach those billy-goats and dawgs to do a little rain dance! Isn't that an interesting picture.

Message: Hot off of CNN (Chicken Noodle Network) Bubba needs rain. Send quickly. Goats and dawgs are withering away As for Ron Reinholdson inquiry about surfing at Catalina, it would be difficult at best. While the prevailing swell is from the west southwest, the island rises very quickly from the seabed thus, ground swells do not break. Rather, they roll right into the vertical cliffs with no curl. The beaches that are available are naturally protected from this swell. Sometimes, however, when a Santa Ana blows, Avalon and the Isthmus and all other north facing beaches are pounded with wind waves. Forget the south side of the island. It's even worse. Sometimes the east end of Little Harbor anchorage has a little action but not large. (Not bad information from someone in Georgia.) I spent much time at the island on my parent's boat a long time ago. Surfs Up – Bubba hangs ten. Now please send some rain!
Ray

Thanks for the Catalina Surf report Ray. The rain's on it's way.

Message: To all at Cougartown that have taken their time to check in on how I have been fairing these past several months....Thank you very much. JB for your messages, Chris Prewitt for trying to visit and the Rowdy Queen Judy for all the secret notes during study hall.. Patty V for the jokes and everyone else Thank you. I am feeling much better just now, and I have been wanting to post a note at Feedback for weeks. The last time I tried, there was a DO NOT DISTURB note in Hawaiian on the front door.
Congratulating! Robin & Marsha, Rowdy Queen Judy & Janny. May you each enjoy the peace, joy and comfort of the warm touch, unspoken words and the sharing of your lives with your sole mates. I would wish you all the very best In particular to the ladies...Remember the unspoken word part of this!
JB a.k.a. Mr. Levy I guess it's really "Hello Johnny" You are keeping the Cougartown chapel rather busy. One thing I did notice. In all the pictures no Elvis participating in the weddings? Hard to do here, in less you do the drive in wedding window.
Maria and I were sorry that we couldn't make the wine country trip. But, maybe next year, God willing and the creek not rising. Well guys, I have already stayed too long at the fair just now, so till I can get back in touch.... Thank you all again for the kind words and for just thinking of me. You all mean a great deal too me. RGC, Frank

Hey Frank, Thanks man for giving us a shout. We were all getting a little worried. Yeah, the Cougartown Chapel has been pretty busy, and yes we DID have our own Elvis at Robin and Marsha's wedding. Robin said he couldn't marry Marsha unless Elvis did Ready Teddy at the service. I don't know where Marsha found him but.......well click here and see if this guy doesn't sound just like THE KING to you. Thanks again Frank....stay in touch man.
