Message: Thank you all for missing me at the VFW Breakfast. You guys sure know how to welcome a person. I would have been there but for the Flu, my first in about 30 years. Took my body by storm. No antibodies, I guess. I will be there in the future and look forward to everything but the SOS. I am weakening in my determination to sample it after all the comments. I may join Judy in the egg breakfast. Good luck with your surgery Judy, too bad you can't arrange to donate some of your excess as a transplant to some deserving lass. Hope the other Moms and Dads return as I would enjoy talking with them about "you kids".
Take care....
"YOU KIDS", Man I love how that sounds. Thanks Mom "B" and it does look like our parental force is growing stronger. They wouldn't let us go un-chaperoned in high school and it's still true today. We had a great time on Sunday and we missed the B's too. Next month, maybe we'll see you there.

HCH, That's OK as I think we'll do this every month for awhile. I had a blast this morning. Stephanie Hall was there. I haven't seen her since high school and she is still as radiant as ever. The Rowdys, Mo Trott, Judy D, Marsha R, and Sherry P Wingo; Loren Heath was the cook; Bob Fraser and wife Karen, and a special surprise for me was Loren's mom, Helen Heath, who I haven't seen in 30+ years. She still looks great and we had a spirited conversation about the old neighborhood and Loren's dates in high school. Happy Birthday to Marsha Russell who turns !#&* years old tomorrow. Mo brought a Heavenly cake and we all sang Happy Bday to her. Marsha hasn't changed in 35 years. She still looks like a little surf bunny. This was real fun and I want to do it again next month. It's a perfect place to meet and talk over Ctown business. Harry, next month, bring the dog.........

Message: I was told about this page by an old HHS friend. I wish all the best to all of those people I knew at HHS but have not talked to for years and years.
I think it is great that someone put this page together... I should have searched for it last summer when I wanted to know about my potential upcoming 20th reunion. Instead, I called the school and gave my new name and address to the current activities director at the high school, assuming that is all I needed to do to be notified of the reunion when it occured. That did not happen. Instead, I called the high school, after hearing nothing for months since my first call, to find that my reunion had already occurred. My advice to anyone expecting to have the school do their job in passing along your name... don't expect too much. Be proactive and make sure that the appropriate former student organizing the event gets your name.
Does anyone out there know how to get in touch with Dr. Fred Morgan? He made a difference in my life and I want to let him know that.
Well said Kurt, It's a tragedy when someone misses their reunion. The school will NOW give the alumnus the website info, so they can check on their upcoming reunions. Reunion info will be posted by January or February of the reunion year. If it's not posted on the Reunions Page, then I haven't received any information on that particular reunion.

Parachute pants (pedal pushers, bell-bottoms). Those bright neon colors. How about Valley talk [gag me with a spoon, radd, awesome, totally dude, like you know] (stoked, groovy). Dungeons and dragons (70s pong). Breakdancing (The twist). Kristi left out body piercing (we had this but it was by accident [my sister Bonney used to sew and I stepped on several needles]). Tattoos (only on drunken sailors). The coffee houses (poetry was read and may be accompanied by bongos). Hometown bands [there are some pretty good ones at the coffee houses] (ours were at the homes and dances). AIDS (polio). Finally punkers (My sister was the original punk. When she was taking cosmetology classes she had green, purple and I don't remember what other color hair).
