Goal of Law Enforcement Exploring

The Law Enforcement Exploring Program {L.E.E.P.} is a special interest phase of the Boy Scouts of America, Learning for Life - Exploring. It is a Co-Ed program open to both boys and girls, ages 14 through 21. The primary goal of the program is to expose young adults to the many facets of law enforcement by providing them with training and exposure to police functions. As an Explorer, you will assist personnel within the police department. Emphasis is placed on career development. Police Exploring is an experience that will last a lifetime. Exploring is a character-building program that will prepare you for the challenges of adulthood. You will witness first hand life’s joys and difficulties and learn how to deal with these complexities. You will also learn the importance of teamwork. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
